Our tour leaves Honolulu in the morning to Tokyo.

Tokyo Due to the international date line, we will arrive in Tokyo on the following day and after clearing customs we will check into the Shiba Park Hotel. The remainder of the day is free to rest and relax.

Japan Hobby Show We will depart the hotel at 8:30 am for the 31th Annual Japan Hobby Show, the largest hobby craft show in Japan. The show hosts a wide range of domestic and Hobby Industry Association member craft suppliers exhibiting a variety of products. Nearly 800 exhibitors are expected from all parts of Japan as well as the U.S. You will be able to find goshibanah, quilts, paint crafts, gRibbon Art Craftsh, and many more. In addition, various workshops and demonstrations on these crafts will be held, in which you may participate if you desire.

Japan Hobby Show We leave at 9:30 am for another full day at the show. Because of the Japanese peoplefs great appetite for hobby craft products, about 9,000 Japanese buyers visit this show every year looking for new merchandise. The show drew over 100,000 people last year and approximately 7,000 tradespeople attend, including independent shops, chain stores, mail-order companies, specialty shops and craft professionals from throughout the country.
Instead of going to the show, we also have the option of paying a visit to Kamata Cityfs specialty handcraft stores. There is Yuzawaya, a crafterfs dream store, and many 100 yen stores.

Tokyo City Tour This morning we will visit an indoor morning flea market in Shinagawa.
In the afternoon we will take a short city tour of Tokyo in the morning. We will visit the Japanfs World Trade Center building, Imperial Palace Plaza, Asakusa Kannon Temple, Nakamise Shopping Arcade, and drives by the Ginza District. For those of you who may need a box to pack your purchases in, the hotel sells a large box.

Free Day Today is a free day for you to do as you please. We are offering three option tours for those interested in learning a little bit about the area around Tokyo. Each tour is a one day tour.
    * Option One..........Nikko World Heritage Tour

We do not depart the hotel until about mid-afternoon, so you are free until then to do any last minute shopping and packing. In the morning we may visit Tsukiji Morning Market for seafood omiyage, such as scallops.
