An afternoon departure from Honolulu takes us to California where we will head to Anaheim for the duration of our stay.

San Diego Sea World Continental Breakfast is offered at our hotel (coffee, tea, juice and danish) at our hotel daily. San Diegofs Sea World is our destination today as we leave Anaheim and travel south. Along the way, we will drive pass the Anaheim Stadium, home of the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim. Next is San Juan Capistrano, an old Spanish mission, that is famed for the swallows that return here every year. We will get to see some of the beaches of California along the way as well. San Clemente is here and was the summer home of the late President, Richard Nixon. There is Camp Pendleton, the US Marine Corps basic training camp just south of San Clemente.
Our first park is Sea World. We will see a variety of animals ready to entertain you from the Shamu Adventure Show featuring Shamu and friends to Clyde and Seamore, a pair of comical sea lions, in their new show, Risky Rescue, where they must save their beloved submarine by rescuing a missing Admiral from Anemone Territory.
In addition to the shows are exhibits featuring rare and unusual animals. The Penguin Encounter, The Shark Encounter, and the new Manatee Rescue show these fantastic creatures in their simulated habitats. At the Forbidden Reef, you can feed California bat rays and other creatures of the deep.
For those looking for rides, Sea World has three to wet your appetites. The Wild Arctic is a simulated jet helicopter ride and Shipwreck Rapids carries 9 shipwrecked passengers to an isolated South Seas Island on a raft-like inner tube. Journey to Atlantis is a mythical ride through uncharted waters with unpredicatable drops and serpentine turns that lead up to an eight story plunge.

There are even a couple shows to see like the 3-D show, gHoney, I Shrunk the Audienceh, and the fabulous Fantasmic laser light show. Nor would a visit to the Magic Kingdom be complete without one of their famous parades, so we will be sure to see one. Hopefully by then the new Finding Nemo Submarine Voyages will be open.
